AmaSilyS... Artista Visual, Escritora y Diseñadora./Visual Artist, Writer and Designer.

Nacida en Venezuela (1972).

1992-2008 Publicista, Diseñadora Gráfica y Productora de Radio, con formación académica en ello. Hoy en día me dedico a ser Diseñadora Gráfica, Artista Visual (Autodidacta) y Escritora.

1992-2008 Advertising Executive, Graphic Designer and Radio Producer, with academic training in it. Today I am dedicated to being a Graphic Designer, Visual Artist (Self-taught) and Writer.




Profesionalmente hablando, realicé mis primeras obras (Colección Prima inspiraCción) cuando tenía unos 19 años, y fue en el 2008 que decidí -contra viento y marea- enfocarme cada día más en lo que amo absolutamente: Ser Artista Visual, Escritora y Diseñadora.

Professionally speaking, I made my first works (Prima inspiraCtion Collection) when I was about 19 years old, and it was in 2008 that I decided -against all odds- to focus more and more on what I absolutely love: Being a Visual Artist, Writer and Designer.

Desde entonces he tenido el privilegio de ser invitada a participar en extraordinarias experiencias, como ser curadora de la exposición en línea "La ciudad: Escenario de emociones"-Sala de Arte 10, ser miembro y colaboradora del Colectivo Femenino Proyecto Art-esencia. Además, he sido incluida entre los Embajadores Honorarios de la exposición internacional #TAE Twitter Art Exhibit (creada para apoyar obras de caridad y organizaciones sin fines de lucro alrededor del mundo, 2012-2017). Mis obras han sido exhibidas internacionalmente en museos, galerías y centros culturales. Oportunidades que me inspiran aún más y hacen que me sienta agradecida y honrada.

Since then I have had the privilege of being invited to participate in extraordinary experiences, such as being a curator of the online exhibition "The city: Stage of emotions"-Art Room 10, being member and collaborator of the Women's Collective Art-essence Project. In addition, I have been included among the Honorary Ambassadors of the international exhibition #TAE Twitter Art Exhibit (created to support charities and non-profit organizations around the world, 2012-2017). My works have been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries and cultural centers. Opportunities which inspire me even more and make me feel grateful and honored.

Siempre he preferido escribir que hablar. Un día conocí las letras, las palabras… Me daba cuenta de que podía expresar mis ideas… Otro  hermoso día conocí al mágico dúo: ¡el papel y el lápiz! Y comencé, no solo a dibujar, sino también a escribir todo lo que tenía dentro: pensamientos, poesías, narraciones cortas, narraciones largas… Ahora mis palabras pueden llegar lejos, muy lejos… ¡Es emocionante!  

I have always preferred to write than to speak. One day I met the letters, the words... I realized that I could express my ideas... Another beautiful day I met the magical duo: paper and pencil! And I started, not only to draw, but also to write everything I had inside: thoughts, poems, short stories, long stories... Now my words can go far, far away... It's exciting!

Me siento agradecida por la extraordinaria e inesperada generosidad de todos los Artistas que han compartido su escenario conmigo, además de todas las personas que se dedican a apoyar la creatividad. Tengo mil ideas revoloteando en la cabeza, entusiasmando mi corazón… Quiero seguir dando lo mejor de mí… porque cuando te das cuenta de que tu voz es escuchada, tus palabras, tus creaciones pueden influir de alguna manera en el mundo… Hay un grado de responsabilidad… Creo que puedes expresar lo que quieras, pero con propósito, considerando cómo afectarás a otros… ¿Quieres afectar positivamente o negativamente? ¿Cuál es el mensaje que deseas dejar y que posiblemente trascienda a muchas generaciones futuras?

I feel grateful for the extraordinary and unexpected generosity of all the Artists who have shared their stage with me, in addition to all the people who are dedicated to supporting creativity. I have a thousand ideas fluttering in my head, thrilling my heart... I want to continue giving my best... because when you realize that your voice is heard, your words, your creations can somehow influence the world... There is a degree of responsibility... I think you can express what you want, but with purpose, considering how you will affect others... Do you want to affect positively or negatively? What is the message you want to leave and that possibly transcends many future generations?

Aquí estoy, una Artista, una Autora, una Diseñadora... Por encima de todo, ¡un ser humano con muchas ganas de seguir aprendiendo y compartiendo buena vibra! Como dice una de mis canciones preferidas: a mi manera.

Here I am, an Artist, an Author, a Designer... Above all, a human being eager to continue learning and sharing good vibes! As one of my favorite songs says: in my way.
